Small, multiseriate alternated, with inside outline lenticular aperture pits (1), uniseriate storied with circular pit aperture (2), uniseriate staggered pits (3), and multiseriate alternated pits with lenticular openings (4). The shape of the pits would probably be more easy to see in stained fibres in transmitted light. Note that on each rotation the apparent size of the circular outside pit changes, the inside pits either show or disappear [micrographs and z-stacks BvV].
